As For Me and My House
Marty Grubbs • 25-Apr-2021
Jeni and Pastor Lance Ward joined Senior Pastor Marty Grubbs to talk through their journey of losing their son to an accidental overdose, and then Lance’s mom to cancer just a few months later. Their losses are recent and emotions are raw, yet their faith in the Lord is unwavering. Clinging to what they have built over the years, they processed grief and sorrow through the Word of God, surrounded and supported by their faithful community. Seeking comfort in Psalms, and the words of Jesus, one thing Lance shared was that suffering reveals to you beauties you would otherwise not see. Their faith was strong before these tragedies hit, and because of their trust in God, they are coming through the storms with faith in tact and are able to continue to praise the Lord.
